SV is Almiles's show and they should do what they want and not give a fuck about the opinion of a brown-nose like DeKnight. Or, as Kate Bosworth would put it: "Suck it, DeKnight!"

Oh, I would love it if Joss Whedon would write for SV. He would have probably done better on character development than most of the SV writers, especially Deknight.lol
Nice way to put it, Mary.lol

Reading through DeKnight's blog. As of right now according to him....He is writing the season premire. Well that sucks. I'm gonna go post what Erica said about where she'd like to see Lois progress this year. Maybe that'll get it through his skull. I hope the actors have their A game to overcome the script. ETA: Here's what I posted: My new request is a revision of my initial request. If you are infact writing the Season 6 premiere, listen to all of your actors, without bias to formulate the scripts.
Asked what she would like to see for Lois in the next season, Durance said she would like to see Lois continue on her path to being an investigative reporter.
"And I hope I get to kick more people," she said, laughing. "That's a great stress reliever." - Erica Durance
Comics Continuum - Wizard World Philadephia, Erica Durance Panel, 06/03/06 I'll preface this by saying I don't know if any of it is the case, but it's the impression I get. If he actually listens to all those vindictive pieces of crap that want Erica gone (though tough crap you losers, it will NEVER happen!), then he'll probably say listening to her would be bias, well he can go F himself. If there are people on that Hollywood writing staff that put this Chlark, Chloe, and Lana crap as the most important in this show then those people can go to hell. All those moron psycho fans can go straight to f'n hell. This show would be cancelled by now if they hadn't hired Erica in Season 4, it would already be done, I guaran-damn-tee you. No matter what the hacks on the staff that give the ones who actually have talent on the staff a bad name do, the cast will overcome it to make it a good show overall and Erica will continue to make her Lois Lane arguably the best ever, no matter what. But the show could be more than good, it could be one of the best. And if those hollywood hacks can't figure out that the journies of Clark, Lex, & Lois trump everyone else's? Then they can burn in hell. #screams#

I adore Erica, she does a wonderful portrayal of Lois Lane. However, I don't agree when you say that if it was not for her SV would be cancelled. It takes away from what all the other actors bring to the show. The fact of the matter is we are blessed with a talented cast of TW, ED, MR, KK, AW, AT, and JG (and of course JS). In fact this past season I think we had some great episodes where they displayed their talents. DeKnight has restrictions that of what he can and can't do. He cannot just say F the Al/Miles and do what the fans say. Not likely. DC has a strong hold on stuff like that. Some of the fans are irrational, illogical, and down right mean, but internet fandom doesn't even begin to cover all the fans. We are continuing into Season 6, which is more than any other super hero show, ever. Obviously, something keeps people coming back for more and I doubt it is one sole thing.

I agree Eiram, its a team effort not just one person making SmallVille a great show, despite that not soo hot writing the acting is still the best I have seen.
