Attention all Tom, Erica, Michael, and Kristin fans! If you are a fan of Smallville and would like the show to consistently go forward and not backward, then read on! T.E.M.K. fans are spearheading a project looking to make a difference on the show and in the world in a positive way.
We are calling this The Tsuru Project, collecting wishes for Season 7 of Smallville and wishes of hope for the world. For further explanation and more on the inspiration for this idea, please see the italicized paragraphs at the end of this post. We will also be working to raise money for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation through purchase of the Superman tags, with all proceeds going to the Foundation. At least one of each pair of tags will be sent to Alfred Gough & Miles Millar to help deliver our message for the show to them: "Go Forward". Each contributor of $10 will have the option to keep one of the two tags of the pair they purchased to raise awareness for the Foundation and on the issue of paralysis in their community.
Please click on the banner below for more information, and GO FORWARD!!
Mission Statement:
According to Japanese lore, one who makes 1000 paper cranes is granted his/her wish. The Tsuru Project, which began in 2005, will resume the goal of 1000 paper cranes by finishing the remaining 700. Through these cranes Smallville fans can uniquely express their Season 7 wishes to TPTB. In addition, these cranes are messages of our hope and promise for future peace in the world, as a portion of these cranes will be sent to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan.
About Us:
TEMK is an abbreviation for a group of fans of Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Michael Rosenbaum, and Kristin Kreuk, the portrayers of Smallville's Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Lana Lang. The group was established by a fellow SV fan, Jason, on the Devoted to Smallville boards. It comprises of Clois and Lexana fans who care about the ethical treatment of their respective 'ships and characters and the well-being of the show while spreading good will in the process.
