I had the tv on in the background today when "Grace Under Fire" came on ....wasn't really paying attention to it until I heard her say "Well I chained myself to Dean Cain, but Superman STILL got cancelled"
After I stopped laughing I realized it was in reference to people demonstrating to achieve a goal....in this instance it was an old tree that was going to be cut down  but the DC reference made me laugh.

That's a cool one, I wouldn't mind chaining myself to Dean I know there was a LnC reference once on Will & Grace: JACK: "Now, we have a very special friend joining us today. He is an acting legend, known for such memorable roles as..." Jack reads the long resume... JACK: "Oh, get out of town! You did a "Lois and Clark?" Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. James Earl Jones of TV's "Lois and Clark." Make some noise." :rotflmao:: :rotflmao::

I know Dean Cain was guest star in "Living Single" with Queen Latifah, so there's a lot of references but mostly about Superman, not so much about Lois & Clark. And in the Will &Grace one, in the same episode Will and Grace are watching Smallville, and Will required "Why watching Smallville making me feel like a teenager boy" or something like that. Than Grace replied "It's the written"

LOL got another one...happened to cach an episode of "Joey" the other night , and they had a hilarious DC and supes reference... so I come bearing gifts....thought there would be a few among us who would find this amusing. I just clipped the applicable scenes, so it's short. rapidshare.de/files/7493412/DCref.wmv.html

LOL! That quote makes it sound like it was bad to be Dean Cain in this case. I'm a fan of Friends...but never really got into the Joey show. No matter, it conflicts with Smallville when it's on and Smallville is far more important to me! ;D

I know Dean's older brother, Roger Cain. Does that count as knowing someone famous? In fact here's our picture. This was taken in August 2000. I met him and the rest of the now defunct band, Catch 22 in Las Vegas!
