I've read more of that thread than I care to, much more than I could stomach and more than enough to make my blood pressure rise. If you didn't know that was Chloesite, you'd think Lois was the worst character on television and Chloe was the best. My only consolation is that their bias comes shining through like a big, bright beacon flashing "Chloe" "Chloe" "Chloe".
I've done more than my share of debating in the Chlois thread until I decided it wasn't worth the headache it caused me. It just really ticked me off that the only way they could exalt Chloe was to trash Lois.
I guess I just believe too much in truth, justice and other stuff but there is no such thing at Ksite which is sad because they are supposed to love a show whose hero stands for all those things.
I still plan to leave my feedback when life affords me a chance to write up my thoughts (for what it's worth). I know I shouldn't care that those people trash Lois at every turn, but for some reason I just do.

I went to that thread and was heartbroken how so many people want Lois gone. A lot of them seem to support the Chlois theory too. If TPTB do read that thread, Im scared of what kind of affect it would have on Lois. I really am worried.

Don't worry Amber. #hug# Lemme just put it into numbers, to give some perspective and ease some worries. Now, how many posters (not multiple posts from the same people) are in the thread? I'm guessing that even at an absolute max by the time Season 6 starts filming (usually mid-July) maybe there'd be 1,000 tops. How many people on average (accounting peaks and valleys) watch "Smallville"? About 5,000,000. Add to that potential additional fans who might tune in for the Season 6 premiere on The CW with a new network reaching more people and off the heels of "Superman Returns" which most are projecting as one of the top grossing films of the year. There are millions who watch "Smallville" but never look up anything about it on the Internet. This is big-time multi-billion dollar business too in anything officially sanctioned in the "Superman" enterprise. Biased whining of at max a couple thousand Internet fans will do nothing. And that's not even mentioning that outside of "psychoville" over there Erica has gained immense popularity in this season alone and more and more mainstream audiences are taking notice. She's landed two lead roles in feature-length films in the past 4-5 months and has graced the cover of FHM, one of the world's most popular magazines, for their biggest issue of the year. Now back to the other side of the debate. Hmm, is Chloe in that upcoming movie? No? Oh gee. How 'bout the comic book series? Nada? Well perhaps all the previous Superman-related series on DVD? You're kidding, not there either? Hmm...and apparently Lois Lane has established backstories in all of these entries, dating back as far as the 1930s. And, I mean here's the capper, her dad's name isn't Gabe, he's not unemployed, her mom's not nuts, she isn't an only child, she wasn't born in Smallville, she doesn't have short blond hair, she doesn't work unpaid internships and wouldn't be adverse to getting a job to help out her family, she's actually had fighting and military training thanks to her father, she doesn't betray friends, she has a backbone, she has self-confidence, she knows how to play people, she can drink football players under the table, she has pink food pajamas and bunny slippers, and Clark falls in love with her and Lois isn't instantly in love with Clark and doesn't pine for him! And I didn't even cover everything! I'll be damned...it's almost like Lois Lane played by Erica Durance, is actually THE Lois Lane! Feel free to tell those people over at those forums what I just said, because they really do sound that idiotic. #laugh# I'll say it again and I'll tell you that I am not just saying this out of common sense, I'm saying it because I have had it factually confirmed (I swear to you guys) by an employee of "Smallville": Chloe will NEVER be Lois.So take heart, enjoy the last two eps of the season, and get ready for Smallville: Season 6 on The CW where Erica will continue to win hearts as Lois Lane. And thanks Mary, you're pretty cool yourself. #hug#

You know, I read something funny in another board. Since Lois will be in an airplane in the season finale, that means she will die and Chloe will assume her identidy. Like Lois would say : Pathetic, isn't ?

Well, Luke, I don't know how much trust I should put in your source, but do you have any idea if and for how many episodes Erica will return for season 6? That's actually all I'm asking for from Smallville: Lois to come back with a solid story line.

Oh, the damn and old Karma. I've always been pissed off with all the the Lois/Erica bashing. The fans of Chlark, Clana, Chloe, and other freaks - not that I don't like Chloe, don't get me wrong -, they all hate - or pretend to hate Erica. And you know why? Because she's perfect. The way she plays Lois is just wonderful, and the bastards just can't live with a little - a lot - of competition. It's the Karma, I'm telling you. *sigh* Like it's happening with Erica. It's not her fault, she and Clark will end up together in the end, it has been written from the start too. For the Clana fans, nothing against--- oh, what a lie. Get over it. GET-OVER-IT. We all know, including THEM, that Clark and Lana - thankfully - will not end up together in the end. It was cute at the beggining? Yes, it was. But it has became boring, annoying and silly--- well, I won't even start here because it's a personal opinion. They can love Clana - bleargh - as much as they want, but THEY WILL NOT END UP TOGETHER IN THE END. We all know it, Clois fans, Clana fans, Chlark fans, Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk, all the cast, writers and directors of Smallville know that. If they want Clana to work, they'll not get it hating Lois or Erica. By the way, Clana working out? It's impossible. We've seen this through the seasons. Impossible. They've shown why. They're automatically turning themselves blind. And so are the Chlark/Chloe fans. I stand up and clap you all for what you said. Chloe Sullivan was created on 2001. Lois Lane was created on 1938. Pete was already there, Lana was already there, Clark was already there. Chloe was a character created, sorry here, but to fill a place. It's an absurd that the Chlark/Chloe fans have come out with weird theories that Chloe will turn into Lois, that she's the right woman for Clark, it's all bullshit. Because she's not. Again, don't get me wrong, I love Chloe's character, I really do, but I love Lois's more. They all have to understand a thing. Chloe IS NOT LOIS. She'll never be. Neither will Lana. If they don't want to understand that, it's not our problem. It's not Lois's problem. And for Heaven's sake, it's NOT Erica's problem, so it's just sick they are bashing her for something it's not her fault. They should go and complain with who created Superman in the first place. Go there, ask why they didn't create a character named Chloe Sullivan. Ask why Lana don't end up with Clark. And please, tell me when you're going, because that'd be so fun to watch. If they all just stopped with this they'd see what amazing actress Erica is, how she plays plays Lois Lane like the feisty, sarcastic, ironic, sexy, fun, great and 'perfect-for-Clark' woman she is. The way they'd like Lana and Chloe to be. For those who have read until here , I will just say one thing more: it's part of the game. Reason for Editing: Gone OT with example posted ^...so omitted that part of post. This isn't a HP forum...so reminding you to please stay on topic and only discuss Smallville related topics. Thanks.

I just have to give an example. I feel like it's last year all over again, when Harry Potter 6 was released. After most of people had read, the ones who used to support Harry/Hermione were pissed off. Because well... who read the book 6 here knows, and so does who read the interview that J.K.Rowling gave after. Because she said with all the letters that H/Hr it's never gonna happen. She also said which shipper WAS happening from the start, which pissed them off even more, because of... you know, the whole R/Hr - H/Hr competition. Well, anyways, I got a little carried away here, sorry. To summarize, they started to hate J.K.Rowling and tell her off, offenses that were just... sick. Disgusting. Sad, really. Blaming her for something it was not her fault. She put that on the books from the beggining. So you think it's right that JKR called us H/Hr shippers delusional? That's a disgusting way of treating a good percentage of her fanbase. And if you take delight in that, then you're just as pathetic. Nobody hated her for what she wrote in her own book. If you go back and read them all, you'll notice plenty of clues for H/Hr. We shippers saw that as foreshadowing for a roamance. So it didn't happen, ok. We'll live with that, but we blame JKR for calling us names, just because we liked what she wrote and thought it meant something different. But we never stepped as low as you just did!

EDIT: C'mon guys. I'm not a mod in this forum but it's Smallville, not Harry Potter. That can be discussed in EY. Hey Mary, I promised I wouldn't disclose the person who gave me the info that Chloe can't be Lois. The best I can do is tell you that the person works on the creative staff of "Smallville". They are too busy to answer every question but they did do me the courtesy of assuring that Lois is Lois bottom-line no matter what. The reasoning (besides of course common sense and good storytelling) that Chloe can't and will never be Lois is that not only is it logically impossible but it is legally impossible. That's the absolute max I feel comfortable saying 'cause I promised my source I'd not disclose their name and I only mention the main info to re-assure my friends here. That's all I can say besides, trust me. Erica like the rest of the cast is signed through season 7 which is the max number of seasons they will do (paraphrasing Al Gough around the time of "Reckoning"). Erica is a series regular and at the moment she has a contract similar to John Glover's (13 eps per season). My friend Teresa thinks that if Erica does get extended to 22 episodes per season we'll probably learn that at the CW up-front this month. Plus she can always ask Erica when she meets her @ Wizard World in Philly on 6/3. And "word" to my friend (0lois lane0) above me. I applaud those who can stand to visit that hell-hole krapsite and others like it to stand up for Erica/Lois. Personally, I know I'd get banned if I did so there's no point for me. I think I'm a nice person but when people slander someone I care about and ask for confrontation I can get real mean and real nasty in a big hurry. The important thing to remember is essentially what my friend said above, they're scared. They (haters) are very immature people with nothing better to do with their lives. They act this way because, facts are facts and this is not meant as a slight on Allison. Alli and Erica are good friends (and Alli'd be appauled at these haters') and I think Allison is a cool girl. But the bottom-line is that Erica is more marketable than Allison. Allison is a pretty girl with an average body-type, fairly short but vuluptous. Erica is a gorgeous girl with a killer body; tall, slender and curvy. Kristin is a petite girl with a tight body and a pretty face. In jealousy factors alone that looks can garner, Erica getting noticed as having the most "sex appeal" makes some Allison fans jealous as they feel like she's doing what Kristin has always done in that sense but in addition they feel she's "stealing" Chloe's "role" too. The fact is Chloe's "role" is changing because the core purpose of her character is a plot advancement device. Not to say she's not important or that she doesn't have a fleshed-out personality and role, it's just stating the facts that the creators stated on day one. And just because Erica's looks are getting her attention Allison doesn't get from magazines such as FHM, this doesn't mean Erica's just a "hot girl" 'cause she's not. And that's why people who like her and people who give her a chance like her so much. Because Erica is extremely down-to-earth, kind, smart, talented, driven, and just an incredibly good person. Like Erica has said, some people just hated her Lois on principle before she even got the role and she was never given a chance by them. The idiots bashing her? Those are exactly who those people are. And Erica's attitude towards them? Basically that's fine, some people are gonna be that way, but you can't worry about it and you can't let 'em get to you. As always, Erica gives sound advice...advice that I think we should all follow.

It's sad that SmallVille fans can't take a lesson from the cast, they are basically a family, it most hurt like heck seeing how their fans tear into each other, I mean its like the old saying goes can we all just get along? sometimes I wish, Clois,Charlk,Clana, Lexana or the non shippers would get along or at least, learn to agree to disagree. I'm sure the cast would get furious if they ever stepped into Krapsite and read what those so called fans are saying.

Yeah, it's Smallville, not Harry Potter, so, Mary, check your PM inbox. ^.~ Now, most of Smallville cast would be crazy if they jumped into fansites. I guess that's exactly why they don't - I think. Who knows what happens behind-the-scenes??
