I hoping they will either have all the deleted scenes as a feature on the DVD or an extended DVD
But I just noticed Marie is seeing this movie again! lol That was got to be a record #laugh#

I'm sure they'll included deleted scenes from the movie on the dvd. I guess it was ok that those scenes were deleted 'cause the movie was long enough (which we all agreed, at least those of us who has seen it that it was, lol). I didn't mind the length of this movie. I think that if it wasn't that long, we'd all be complaining that it wasn't long enough. No matter how short or long a movie is...people will always find something to nitpick or complain about esp. if a movie didn't meet their expectations. You know, with every movie, not everyone will like it. There's always someone who will not like a movie whether it's great or not. I guess it depends on a person's preference. You may like a movie that others may not or vice versa...though it'd be nice if we all (as in every single movie-goer who sees this) love this movie, lol...but it really just depends on you if a movie interest you enough or it entertained and appealed to your viewing pleasure...that's what matters the most. I know I loved and enjoyed this movie, enough for me to go and watch it again multiple times, lol. ;D
Btw, wasn't it hilarious when Superman rescued Lois from the plane and they landed at a baseball field. Then, they were about to get off the plane, when Superman flew and Lois was still stunned to see him that she passed out right in front of everybody while at the same time sliding at the plane's sliding stairs or something...everyone at the audience were laughing out loud in that scene. #laugh# I thought it was hilarious too. #laugh#

My adventure started at 8p.m. last night. I picked up my brother and my roommate was already with me in the car, and we also had to pick up two of my brother's friends... So we didn't end up getting to Grand Rapids till about 10p.m. We got our tickets and went to wait in line for another good hour. We had to wait for another movie that was already being played in 3D... Once we got our glasses I had to make sure they'd fit over my glasses anyways so I picked the bigger ones... About ten minutes two go. A couple of people dressed in Superman costumes, and my roommate and I wore our Superman shirts and shoes and necklaces... Once the lights went dark it was exciting to see most of the previews were already in 3D only because cartoons are easier to do... By the time the first cord of the music played my face lit up again like a little girl... My hart was pounding and over joied to see it on a 5 story screen... The movie to me was very well done, and well explained. I loved Brandon/Clark/Superman he did an awesome job... And yes J I agree with you I wanted more of him... The first scene done in 3D was back on the farm where they showed young Clark taking his first large leaps through the feild to the barn.. That was very cool... The second 3D scene was the airplain scene. A couple of times I jumped out of my set because the plan was coming right at me or a part of it was. Superman would fly out of the screen and back into the screen alot during this scene... The 3D affects end once the plan has landed in the baseball field. The third 3D scene was when Lex was creating the island out in the ocean with the crystal and kryptonite bom.. That scene ends after Superman rescues Lois/Richard/Jason... Yes I thought the kid was very cute and I do hope as well that Clark tells her that he is Superman cause then it would be easier for him to be with Jason other than just the Daily Planet... I knew right after he threw that piano that he wasn't Richards kid... And I was happy since I wanted Jason to be Clark's child... I loved the flying scene between him and Lois... I so much wanted them to kiss, but hopefully we'll get that next time the squel comes around... The last 3D scene was at the end when he flys into outer space at the end of the movie.... I loved the Daily Planet layout, and Jimmy was funny... But like most of you guys I couldn't take my eyes off of Brandon for a minute... And I always smiled once I heard the music start when you knew he was going to change into the costume... I'm definitly seeing this moving again probably twice in 3D and once in the theater...

Thanks Carrie for posting your 3D experience. You might have to repost it in the IMAX 3D thread I started 'cause I posted one before I saw your post, lol. Also, note to everyone, we have a reviews thread, so post a review there 'cause this thread is mostly discussions...though any of you can post your mini reviews here too.

"Wow that's really something Lex....like freaking Gone with the Wind" #rofl# #rofl# #rofl# The comedic timing and delivery by Parker Posey was perfect there IMO I have other scenes that made me laugh out loud but that was the first one that came to mind.

Oops missed the thread you had.. We can move it to that section if you'd like I don't mind... I also love how they did the X-Ray vision all in color instead of black and blue on Smallville the same but different and I'm glad they added the ice breath now they just have to give that ablitity to Clark on Smallville...

Heck the x-ray vision in the 1978 movie is better than Smallville's! #laugh# Seriously I absolutely hate that power on Smallville because you can rarely ever tell what the heck Clark is looking at!

Yeah, the x-ray vision was awesome as well as the heat vision. Heck even the ice breath rocks. Everything about Superman rocks. BR's Superman has the whole package from the looks to his super powers. #biggthumpup# Btw, Jess are you still making another SR vid I really loved your "What Hurts The Most" video (as well as that "Iris" vid, you did a excellent job on both vids even with lil' clips from the movie. )...wish there was more to it...it'd be nice if you would make a 2nd version of it with more clips of Lois and Clark/Superman from the movie trailers and specials we've seen. I loved that song now after watching the SR vid and it really describes Clark/Superman's feelings towards Lois when he returned to earth and Metropolis.
