Hello Fellow Cloisers!!!!
Operation: Wild Cherry is a brand new campaign that we are launching here at Divine Intervention which will dedicate itself to promoting awareness of the large population of Smallville fans that desire to see Erica Durance appear in a full 22 set of episode in Season 9.
Operation: Wild Cherry will focus on sending out letters a stream of letters to PS3 and other important Smallville related staff and associates that will make our desire to have Erica Durance in a full 22 episodes next season known. The letters will be sent out in red cherry envelopes and will commence the campaign.
In the middle of the letter campaign, we plan to deliver a set of cherry themed items to the Smallville set, which has already been contacted and derived a proper schedule for shipping. Right now we are still voting on the items that we will send. It would help so much for you to take a moment to vote on the poll above. Remember, you may select as many items as you wish. Right now the list is as follows:
Operation: Wild Cherry is launching a brand new email & letter campaign, targeting everyone associated with the Smallville series that can help us get Erica Durance to star in all 22 episodes of Smallville's Season 9. Our campaign will be starting exactly one week from today on Monday, February 23, 2009 and will continue throughout the month of March and possibly the month of April (or until we receive confirmation of a Season 9).
REMEMBER, EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE BY SENDING AT LEAST ONE LETTER OR POSTCARD!
This brand new thread has been created for you to post information about how many letters you commit to sending, whether one letter or twenty letters, we'd like to keep track of how many letters are being sent each and every day.
Letter Details:For those of you who desire to send a letter, a few DI members designed a beautiful set of postcards. You can see them below. Make sure you print them out in sturdy white stock paper. If you need any help on how to print these postcards, please send me a private message.

Note: Letters can be sent in a similar fashion. We had discussed mailing them in in red envelopes, but whether red or white, any envelope will do just fine.

Thanks quistis for letting me know about this and for starting the thread here. Hope everyone will help this campaign as we all want to see Lois/Erica in more than 13 episodes in Season 9 as it's just recently been confirmed they are returning for S9.

A little off topic here but there is another project not as big as O:WC, we also have this appreciation project for Tom and Erica. I'll just post the details here too but if you think that there is a better place for this, please let me know.

The Tom and Erica Appreciation Project
Snapped asked if I could take over organizing this project since she's too busy to be around all the time. I created this new thread so I could update the first post and create a poll. The old thread (found here) will be locked; this is just a continuation of that thread.
What is the purpose of this project? This project is to create and send gifts of appreciation to Tom and Erica for all their hard work and for making the show so enjoyable. Last year Clana-ers sent a cake and flowers to the set on Kristin's last day. So we'd like to do something for Tom and Erica to express our gratitude.
This is not exactly the same as the Operation Wild Cherry project where the goal is to be big and conspicuous to the producers. The goal of this one is to be more personal, and purchased gifts are optional.
What all are we doing? The number one thing that we're doing is a video project, which gottara is leading. The thread for submitting to the video is here. Tom and Erica will each receive a copy. The only costs involved in this are dvd's to burn, and the cost of shipping.
If you're participating in the video project, send a picture of yourself to me by pm to include in the video please!
Deadline for video entries (video, audio, or text) is Friday, March 13th!
If we want to include other items such as a scrapbook or letters, that is up to individuals. We will figure out who is sending the dvd, and will direct you where to send other fan appreciation items so they all get sent together.
In addition to the video project, if we can raise enough donations, I'd also like to purchase a gift for each. Here are my suggestions:
For these two gifts, plus the cost of the dvd's and shipping, I think we should set a goal of around $200. Of course if we get more than that, that's more we can buy them. Or make a donation to a charity in their honor.
We can still take suggestions at this point, but we should probably decide soon. I inserted a poll in this thread to get an idea the funds we'll be working with.

What else can I do to help? Spread the word! Make sure others on DI, and on other forums and media (such as K-site and LJ), know about this project! If you can create a banner or video advertising this, that'd be even better.
You can also help create video files for all the text answers using VideoSpin, a freeware editing program. I will send you a sample to manipulate, and I can guide you through how to make the changes.
When is the deadline? Obviously we want to have this done and shipped to arrive before their last day on the set. Which means we should probably aim for the second to last episode to leave a little fluff for last minute issues coming up. I believe this puts us around the end of March. If anyone has better information on the timing, please share.
Late in posting this here, but thanks to this awesome campaign, Erica Durance/Lois Lane will have more than 13 episodes...she's now getting 18 episodes for Season 9. #biggthumpup9ag# So glad, happy, and excited for Erica/Lois.
Ah man I may have missed it... Would totally do something for this.. The second one I can definitly do... So email me and or pm me here, and I'll try and do it...
